Matthias - UTE015 Label: UTE.REC (UTE015) Genre: Techno, Trance Dark mysticism and chugging sub-propulsions. Ute welcomes Superluminal’s architect Matthias for a four-track novel into warped dance music. From his Berlin kernel, the italian DJ & producer crafts music that gently unravels perception, sending brain tickles from the outer edges straight to the core. A faraway twisted journey where the ecstasy of repetition intersects with the occult." Gbar, djfix - The Dial EP Genre: Broken Beat, Deep House, Electro, UK Garage Label: Craigie Knowes (CKNOWEP75) djfix joins Craigie Knowes for his label debut. The moodiest of club records packed with 4 deep, dark and bouncing jams. Every track has its own identity and stands out on the dancefloor. Title track ‘The Dial’ featuring long-time collaborator Gbar rolls along on top of a thick and voluminous bassline, haunting leads echoing through the night. Twin is a euphoric, hedonistic trip that builds and builds – endless percussion pulling the rhythm effortlessly into your mind. Animals as Teachers rounds the record off with a rocking 4x4 club-ready stomper, peak time business indeed Michelle - Unfailing Love Label: Kalahari Oyster Cult (OYSTER80) Genre: EBM, Electro, House, Techno Boisterous stuff out of Uruguay, courtesy of Kalahari debutant Michelle. An early Nicolas Lutz protégé and live set demolition expert offering hard-edged techno and electro drama, with occasional pitstops into tech house turf. Lean, mean and utterly relentless with it. Pervaded by cranky, unruly dancefloor spectres and haywire cybernetics – all deftly constructed but administered with brute force and controlled ferocity. Bearing heart and soul at the controls of her 303, it isn't all full-frontal assault. A fierce feminine energy pervades every nook and cranny, brooding and angsty, totally rooted in that Montevideo warehouse sound. Straddles the beautiful and terrifying with
