I found my way to love!

Unbelievably honored to have had the chance of a lifetime to perform in Legally Blonde with @damato_performance_school, in what is surely one of the most meaningful 3-month periods of my life.

I have felt so honored to be surrounded by not just immensely talented people, but the kindest community of musical-theater loving friends I could have asked for. Everyone truly stepped up so much in tackling this behemoth of a show (at breakneck speed), and truly put the “community” in community theater. I am filled with so much love over this thing we have created together.

Emmett Forrest has been such an amazing role, and I am sad to say goodbye to him. Although I would never use 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, I am grateful to walk away from this production with just a little more of a chip on my own shoulder. I will never forget to be driven as hell with every chance I am given.

I can’t believe it happened. I can’t believe it’s over. And I can’t wait to see some of you on stage again.

Who would have known that clicking on an instagram ad would have giving me such a loving community. Being in a musical is an experience I never thought I would have again and I am so grateful to have been apart of this performance of Legally Blonde. Thank you to @damato_performance_school for making this dream a reality. And thank you to everyone involved for making this show amazing! 🤩🫶

dear legally blonde 2026 team,

it’s kind of hard to believe that i met you all for the first time this year. before our first mixer, i made a bingo card of my goals for 2026. one of them was to make new friends. (i was definitely afraid that you’d all hate me, so i hope i’ve bought your friendship with cookies.) the first time i walked into the classroom and heard everyone talking, i was half-convinced that i’d just hide in a corner until march rolled around.

but then you were all so nice! and making conversation came surprisingly easy. and i started to realize that i didn’t need to be scared of everyone because, despite being strangers, we already shared one thing: a love for theater.

this community has made tackling a show like legally blonde feel more like getting together with friends to sing and have a good time. our production team and all of our cast have created such a warm environment that i hope future damato students will get to experience.

even though this specific group of performers will never share the stage again, we’ll always share the memories and achievement of putting on this show. it was tough! i have, like, four mystery bruises on my leg from tech week!

all that to say, i’m so proud us, and i truly am honored to have gotten the chance to work with all of you. thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. 💝
