Gearing up for the last wedding of 2026 thinking about last year and the challenges that came with it, and what incredible training grounds it was.

It was a huge set back, physically, emotionally, geographically, but today I can say, even falling from my balcony was a blessing. Sometimes our flops and greatest challenges lead us to even more creativity and out of the box thinking.

I’ve learned so much this season. I’ve tightened up our systems. I’ve established some core team members, I’ve been working on my fitness. Maybe I’ll finally get these hoodies dropped for cold season???

Anyways for now, I hope everyone is staying cool in the heat.

I love LOVE and I am grateful every day for my little slice of life and the beauty I get to surround myself in. Thank you thank you thank you. 🙏

Last night’s intimate dinner party for a past client’s special birthday was literal Mexico inspired perfection from the otomi inspired linens to the curated hand painted dinner plates & layered terracotta tablescape. Getting to design this was a dream come true.

Ceremonies Part II

These images are really informative to look back on as we search for the common thread within the work. This particular set of photos also serves as a guide for envisioning where we want the designs to go! Full-bodied; textured, calm but with points of interest-natural.

-still so many good ones to share in part III ✨

• WEDDING FLORALS • Thinking about Forever 🌊

When I first started Jaus of Vern, I wanted to be known as the “costal florist.” I lived a 4 minute walk from the beach and needless to say I went daily. Even now I stilll go nearly 3 times a week. So when this sweetest beach loving couple found me via @alanaraeevents I felt sooooooooo aligned!!! I’d been waiting for this aesthetic ✨✨✨

Now in 2026 - our new tagline is, “the low intervention florist.” Our goal—to have your guest slow down and think, “wait, did this grow here?!” This is the work we can’t wait to create more of in 2026 ! 🫶

✨ Realistic Wedding Cost Breakdown — Central Coast Edition✨
If you’ve been wedding planning online, you’ve probably seen budget breakdowns that say you can host a 150-person wedding for $25K…
And while that might be true in some areas, it is not realistic for the Central Coast.

We see so many couples come into planning feeling confused or discouraged because the numbers they’ve seen online don’t reflect what professional, experienced vendors actually cost here.

So we put together a realistic minimum + average wedding budget breakdown for a 150+ guest wedding on the Central Coast, based on current pricing from trusted vendors.

💡 Realistic Low-End Minimum: ~$48,000+
💡 Average Central Coast Wedding: ~$70,000+

This includes full-service professionals and the true costs that go into creating a seamless, elevated wedding experience.

Our hope is that this helps couples feel more informed, empowered, and prepared as they begin planning.

✨ Save this post for reference & share with a newly engaged friend!
