« Internal Artifacts are defined as objects, documents, or data created, stored, and managed within a specific, controlled system or organization. » At the heart of the project, Internal Artifacts morphed from its key characteristics & contexts into the world of creativity and sound exploration. Bringing together individuals, each carrying a unique and vibrant musical universe, this project aims to showcase these sonic worlds, giving them a place to exist.  In this context, internal artifacts are redefined into a gathering of sonic universes, textures, and soundscapes assembled and shared through specific mediums. Spirit Award proudly presented to Abigail McConnell (my Scottish alter ego)🍑 I've been in environments where I feel particularly out of place, like a lot of us as creatives. This is why it feels obligatory to ensure nobody walks away from our interactions feeling less hopeful or secure in themselves. Everybody deserves a seat at the table, beyond how their creativity impacts you. I felt extremely anxious on stage so I didn't say my thank you's but please know this post is a personal extension of my gratitude. I'm in awe of every musician, actor, filmmaker and VFX student I've had a little or a big conversation with. @catalyst.berlin is a one of a kind institution, but the people are what make it. The community. The kindness. The teachers like @georgkari and Brian Greene who go above and beyond. The students, my peers, who bent over backwards to help me out. The staff, the techs, John, the cleaners, the security who be giving me a wave and a smile every time I see them. Its the people I will miss the most. The energy of love and art blending amongst hundreds of bright young minds. Sadly I won't be returning for 2nd Year. My few months up to trouble has completed its cycle. I was reluctant to acknowledge it because it meant acknowledging the end of a monumental era that took my music career from a "maybe" to a "definitely" but it also marks a milestone, and the beginning of other adventures. It marks the completion of a necessary first step I had to take in order to validate my dreams, my passions, and meet the beautiful, soulful individuals I met. Etikett Radio Family Party 001 - Artist Spotlight: @_gmira__ Mira is an Azerbaijani born, Berlin-based DJ and producer whose sets move between dub, breakbeat and bass driven sounds. Her approach to DJing focuses on exploration, blending rhythmic intensity with atmospheric textures to create fluid, genre blurring journeys on the dancefloor. Mira will be closing things out downstairs from 02:00 - END!

For our first party in what feels like an eternity, we’re taking over @arkaodaberlin for a night of music, food and jolly good fun.  Showcasing the broad range of styles of our hosts and our extended family, we’ve curated both the bar upstairs and the basement downstairs, with each floor offering a distinct sound palette. We’ll also be joined by food pop up, @antilles_ny, who’ll be running the kitchen for the night serving tasty Caribbean treats.  Opening the music upstairs will be @srnahkhn, who’ll be easing us into proceedings with a blend of gentle selections. Next up is @ahammyshutiris who’ll be digging into the depths of his record bag and sharing all manner of delights. Rounding out the night upstairs will be @dj_einkaufswagen, slinging out 7 inches of pleasure from his infamous shopping trolley.  Downstairs in the basement, things will take a slightly darker twist. @rosiecpt will be warming things up with some piping hot delicacies served straight from her dub oven.  Headlining the night will be Bristol Dubstep pioneer and all round lovely geezer, @appleblim. Since the mid 2000s, Appleblim has been an ever-present figure in the world of bass music, pushing a sound that occupies the deeper end of the spectrum; one that is markedly influenced by sounds far beyond the realms of bass music, and that is distinctly his own. His style as a DJ is as diverse and all-encompassing as his productions, moving seamlessly through genres, tempos and moods.
