FEATURED ARTIST ⭐️ Grace Chiang (@_gracechiang) is one part fearless creative, one part meticulously methodical idea architect. She started off as an assistant audio engineer at Echoplant Recording Studios, working for Juno Award-winning producer/engineer Ryan Worsley. During her time as a studio engineer, she worked with many artists including Canadian radio-charting acts like Hotel Mira and Fake Shark. Always striving for growth, Grace has been mentored by industry giants including Grammy-nominated vocal engineer/producer Simone Torres (Becky G, Shakira) and Grammy-nominated mix engineer Matty Green (Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding).

It’s officially SAD rainy season and I’m finally ready to let this heartbreak song out into the world next Friday Nov 21. After 1.5 years of holding onto it. It is gonna be YOURS cos frankly I’ve heard my own songs too many times.

Presave link in bio to add the song to your library 🎶 it apparently helps bump up the song in the mysterious algorithm so let’s see 😌

It’s been a great year for broken hearts, moving across oceans, learning, changing, meeting your heros, loving your friends, sitting on the floor and sitting in the grief of changing!

Man In the Captain’s Seat is now streaming everywhere!
I am super thrilled to share this recording.
This song has been a crowd favourite throughout the tour, and I really look forward to singing it each night.
It’s about hanging on to optimism when the odds are against you.
For David Bowie fans out there, this song was inspired by Major Tom from Space Oddity.

Thank you to my incredible team who helped bring this to life.

Produced and mixed by Grace Chiang @_gracechiang thanks for bringing your sonic palette and experimentation to a new genre, and for challenging me with your vocal production expertise.

I present to you: “Destiny”, a collection of songs that were mostly created and recorded over this last year as I tested the limits of my passion.
Including Tales of introspection, exploration, joy, heart ache, acceptance, rebellion, whistleblowing, corporate pursuits, familial tension, romance, and universal love.

It feels cathartic to release this body of work at the tail end of my tour. Life has been very transient lately, but music has been the glue, binding each moment together, and reminding me to stay anchored in the present.

Massive thanks to my incredibly talented team for being part of this project.

Let's go over it again. What all do you need to be a killer music producer? Kali Audio monitors (obviously!), a sweet puppy (check!) and of course it helps if you're @_gracechiang!

A strange but important time to be releasing art into the world. This collaboration about love through an apocalyptic time couldn’t be more chillingly and devastatingly appropriate.

In this collaboration with my gorgeous friend @j3msings made possible by @songwriterscanada @songmakersoundshaper and @itsbeaucassidy, we explore lust and longing amidst the backdrop of a world on fire, where we are or at least feel like the last two on earth. This song is about seeking refuge in love amidst the chaos and the violence.

Out NOVEMBER 17. PRE-SAVE link in bio. Sending peace and love to all.
