Today, February 1st marks the 3 year anniversary of officially getting my hEDS diagnosis. While it’s something I’ve had my entire life, I didn’t begin to have major issues with it until my senior year of high school. Now because of fighting to get the official word, I am able to get some of the best care in the country managing it. It can take a lot physically, mentally, and absolutely emotionally, but having a village to help me manage it has been a game changer. I finally feel that I’m in control (to the most I can be). I love getting to share my story. I love helping fellow dancers who message me or those in the Facebook groups. We are all in this together and I couldn’t be more happy to help inspire fellow zebras. Even if they say we can’t do something, we will find a way. It may be hard, and take more effort to do so but our determination and resiliency is some of our best traits. To all my fellow spoonies. See the light in the darkest of moments. I always hope your spoons are filled with sugar.

long overdue post, but my first year coaching the @lvaces wild card crew was truly a dream. I can’t think of a better person to have by my side through out this entire process @makennap_m i’m so proud of us and the work that we poured into this season. there also isn’t a better team we could’ve picked. each practice and game was filled with laughs, fun, and hard work and i’m so grateful that i got to experience that with all of you. i cannot wait to see what next year has in store 🫶 #lvaces #wildcardcrew
