Had THE BEST time turning this combo into a full piece for Steps’ September edition of the Professional Performance Workshop! These dancers were a dream to work with, and I couldn’t be more proud of their performance ☺️ Thank you all for trusting me, and for sharing your time and talent. You made the dance the fierceness that she is! Extra large thanks to Joe, Jess, Diane, and the entire staff team for your support and for giving me the safe space to be creative!

Two weeks ago I got to perform this stunning heels piece choreographed by @oliviacipolla for @bdcprograms ProSem showcase. Looking back at these pictures and clips, I’m just so grateful to have had the chance to dance this stunning choreo, with my stunning fellow ProSemers, and to have learned so much. Thank you Olivia, for pushing me and allowing me to take up space, feel comfortable in my own skin, and fall in love with heels 👠👠👠

BDC ProSem 2025 ❤️

If the smile on my face didn’t tell you enough about my love for ProSem, here’s a few words:

Wow. The last few months have been filled with endless challenges, opportunities, tears, laughter, pain, and growth, but most importantly joy. An indescribable joy of getting to do the thing I love surrounded by some of the best people I’ve met doing the thing they love. Nothing beats that. So thank you to everyone around me. Truly.

Thank you to @bdcnyc @bdcprograms for creating this wonderful space, @thedavidhoy @_asharp @makaylasprague @allie_beach1 and Cornelius for taking care of us at every twist and turn.

Thank you to my amazing mentors @steffensmatthew for the constant challenge and celebration that is your class, and @mfailoni for letting me be a part of your world as dance captain ❤️ You both have made me more than just a better dancer, but a better performer and person in the room. So thank you.

Thank you to @itsjarosz for challenging me and letting me fly on stage and in the rehearsal room, your choreography is breathtaking. Thank you to @josh_assor, like I said day 1, your choreography scratches an itch in my brain, and I LOVED the opportunity to bring it to life. @80sb.a.b.y @youlmaekim your opening was a BLAST and genius. So thank you for helping me find my power, and for teaching me your favorite swear word…

And to everyone in the program, I love you. I always will. Text me whenever, call me often, and I promise to not cry on the subway so much. ❤️

Thank you.

“Never forget that you are your own magic”✨ - Neil Schwartz

Closing a chapter that truly changed me. Finishing the Professional Semester Program at @bdcprograms was more than just training- it was growth, opportunity, challenge, discipline, and discovery.

I can’t thank the @bdcnyc staff and faculty enough for your tireless efforts in nurturing and supporting my journey throughout the last few months! Thank you @thedavidhoy @makaylasprague @_asharp @allie_beach1 and Cornelius Carter for your guidance, mentorship, and leadership in helping shape us to be the professionals that we are.

Thank you @josh_assor for pushing me to be the fierce and powerful dancer that I am. It was honor to be part of your work and to challenge myself on a whole new technical level! I’ll forever remember the laughs, the stories, and how great it is to always be “cooking with gas!!🔥”

Thank you to @itsjarosz & @angelina_lenzer for giving me the gift of emotional and physical freedom in the beautiful world of “Fly On”. What a joy it was to connect back to my contemporary roots and to be involved in a special, cultivated community made of support, love, and kindness. Forever thankful to be apart of this #flockofbirds 🫶🏽🕊️

Thank you to my dance uncle, @80sb.a.b.y and the incredible @youlmaekim for helping me tap into my inner diva, but also uplifting me during one of the hardest moments of my life. In a time of uncertainty and hopelessness, you helped me find the strength to remember my why I do what I do, and how important it is to keep on going. It’s something I’ll cherish forever; I love you a million💞

And last but certainly NOT least- thank you to my ProSem family!!! This program would not have been the same without each and every one of you. You’re not friends, but truly family! I am so dang proud of us and what we’ve accomplished and WILL continue to achieve in the future. It’s been an absolute honor and privilege to know and dance with to you all. How blessed are we to do what we do as our calling?! 🥹🫶🏽

At some point, you’ll have the chance to move to NYC to pursue your dreams… it’s very important that you take that chance.

In all seriousness, I’m not the same person I was four months ago at the start of this program. ProSem has changed not only as a dancer, but as a person, and I will forever be grateful for this experience. All the people I’ve met, danced with, and learned from have made such a lasting impact on my life and I will forever cherish all the memories made. Thank you all 🫶.

An extra big thank you to my mentors @steffensmatthew @camryn.brothers and @danielbooda for guiding me on this journey. I would not be the dancer I am today without your help 🥰

And an extra big thank you to @bdcprograms for accepting me into ProSem in the first place. This entire experience has been truly wonderful and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

This isn’t the end, just the beginning of the next chapter, and I can’t wait to see what lies next not only for me, but for my amazingly talented fellow Fall 2025 ProSem Alums! I love you all and in the immortal words of @thedavidhoy : GO AWFFF!!!!
