My beloved #zengardensweater ... It's my favorite sweater of them all! Not only because it took me so long to make the perfect version, but also because I designed it 🙈 I can't believe I can actually say that.
But the hardest part wasn't designing, it was converting one size into multiple sizes. But after almost a year, I'm finally in the mood to start a second version and finish the pattern! I can't wait to share my progress with you 😍

DAY 3

The lovely @knitting.eve, @iva.strickt, @thebakingknitter & @my.knitspiration nominated me to present one piece of my work each day for 10 days and to nominate another friend to do the same for these days.

Today I show you the outfit I wore last night on the beach! It's one of my favorite outfits at the moment because it's not too warm (at least in the evening) but not too cold either 😍

Being on the beach is so special and so calming.. I can't describe how happy I am to be here right now!

Thanks for all the support and your kind words about my first self-designed sweater! You wouldn't believe how happy that makes me 😍 & especially thanks to all the great name suggestions for this pattern. I had such a hard time deciding! But I just couldn't get one name out of my head: the Zen Garden Sweater! Now whenever I look at or wear my sweater I have to think that it really does look like a zen garden. So here it is, the name: #zengardensweater. Thank you so much to all the other wonderful name ideas. If I could I would give the sweater several names 😅

I finished the body of my sweater today 😍 & I am so relieved.. I really messed up yesterday (again 😬) & actually thought about throwing the whole thing away. But after a good night of sleep (& some coffee), I knitted back a few rows and fixed my mistake. I am so glad I already tested the sleeves on my first version, so hopefully I don‘t mess them up 😅

Ok, here I am with a second version of my sweater 😅 Swipe to see the comparison of my first try (left) & second try (right). It‘s not the biggest difference but I think my second try looks a bit cleaner 🤔 What do you think? What version would you prefer? Or can you even see the difference? 😅

I really hope I don‘t annoy you with this sweater, but it is the only thing I am doing at the moment 😅 I actually spotted a mistake I did when joining the front and back to work in rounds 🧐 Maybe you can see it too!? 😅
But as it‘s my first try, I am nevertheless happy with the result ☺️

Sneak Peak on the sleeves of my new sweater 😍 It has wide arms in the same structure as the whole sweater.. It will be such a warm sweater! So definitely no freezing this winter 😍
