And away...we...go...!

Our first production of the 2026 season is officially on sale - and you're gonna want to square away some tickets, well, immediately.

We've got room for 50 audience members in this incredibly unique piece of theatre. DESIGNER RUN is an interactive piece simulating the last day in the rehearsal room, before moving into a (fictitious) theatre. Catch 12 numbers, staged by 12 Chicago choreographers, from 12 different shows (featuring 12 different casts) - and featuring nearly 100 performers.

We famously don't advertise the songs in our shows - you've got to attend to find out. But let's just say that March 16th might be a good place to catch Sawyer Smith do some Hedwig, or A.D. Weaver do some Reverend Shaw. Maybe you'd like to hear Lydia Burke & Marta Bady sing some Muse-y things from Hercules?

WE'RE NOT SAYING THOSE THINGS ARE HAPPENING, BECAUSE WE DON'T ADVERTISE THE SONGS IN OUR SHOW IN ADVANCE.

But, you could just come and find out?

A month ago camp rock ended and I will forever look back on the experience as one of my most enjoyable. I would like to thank @thebeautifulcityproject for the wonderful opportunity and everyone involved in such an amazing production I think it’s safe to say we tore it down! This one is a little harder to say goodbye to 🥹✈️✨

West Side Story challenged me, stretched me, and gave me a room full of people who made every long rehearsal, every laugh, every rumble, and every moment in between worth it.

And then there was Anybodys. What a gift of a challenge she turned out to be. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with her tenacity, her persistence, her fight to belong, and her absolute refusal to take no for an answer. Getting to step into her shoes taught me more than I could have expected, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust that was placed in me to do both.

To our cast, creative team, production staff, crew, and everyone at @musictheaterworks who had a hand in bringing this world to life, thank you.

And to this cast in particular, thank you for making the room one I’ll miss walking into. It was an honor to dance beside you, fight beside you, and help take care of this show with you.

Somewhere, someday, someplace…I hope I get to find myself in a room with these people again.

Until then, thanks, Daddy-O. 🫰🏼
