After working with 50+ artists in my musical career, these are the 5 grave mistakes I’ve seen most upcoming artists make in their pursuit of sucess:

1.They still choose to treat music as a hobby- Music is a full time job just like any other, most artists who treat music in this way unfortunately never see it to the end

2. They aren’t consistent- Whether in studio attendance or in releasing. Consistently posting your music increases your chances of getting recognition among fans

3. They are unwilling to be corrected/guided- This is such a great mistake especially when beginning, guidance from the right people can save you years of pain

4. They aren’t educated enough- Most upcoming artists make the mistake of not doing enough research on their role as an artists and this makes them prone to being scammed and used

5. They tend to give up after the slightest bit of inconvenience- Most upcoming artists quit when things get rough, developing a hard skin is such a necessity in the music industry!
