Went to @_hills_kitchen_ while at @parksillysunday 🌯 • Banana Fosters French Toast ($14) • Breakfast Burrito ($13) Mmmm, this looked better than it was. The potatos were a little hard and unseasoned and the French toast could have been more sweet. I didn’t love this but it wasn’t bad. 6/10 ⭐️

The restaurant industry is one of the hardest on mental health. The hours, the pressure, the margins, the pace. And most people white-knuckle through it alone. Brooks Kirchheimer of Hill Top Hospitality said something on this week's episode that really stuck with me: the feedback can be demoralizing. The grind is real. And the bravest thing you can do is ask for unbiased support from someone with no part in the game. Therapy saves, people! New episode is live. Link in bio.

What if the whole point of building a business was creating a place people actually want to wake up and go to every day? That's the question Brooks and David Kirchheimer have been answering for eight years through Hill Top Hospitality. Five concepts. 350 employees. A mantra they've carried since day one: Inspire our associates, thrill our guests, and enrich our community. In an industry where people burn out and walk out, they asked a different question. And built a business around the answer, all while changing Utah's dining landscape. New episode of The Perfect Bite is live. Link in bio.

Currently trying to do all forms of fall activities, preferably involving a cute outfit, a little treat, and anything spooky season related! Here’s what’s happening on my radar this week in Salt Lake City 🎃 *As I was posting this, I realized the Tarot & Pressed Flower Collages at Melancholy is supposed to be on Thursday night - but couldn’t edit it* 🤦🏼‍♀️

As summer turns to fall, we’re loving the bright, colorful tones that seem to blend the seasons so effortlessly. For this Utah mountain wedding, a bride from South Carolina headed west to celebrate, surrounded by sweeping views, vibrant color, and a little taste of Southern charm. Planned and designed by Kaushay & Co. Events, the celebration was filled with thoughtful, personal details, from live roaming musicians during cocktail hour to hand-painted notes waiting for each guest. And when the evening shifted from dinner to dancing, a packed dance floor kept the celebration going well into the night. Bold florals, playful color, mountain views, and an atmosphere that made every guest feel at home came together for a destination wedding that felt both elevated and welcoming. Proof that a little Southern hospitality feels right at home in the mountains of Utah. Event Planner & Designer: @kaushay.co Venue: @4uranchevents Photographer: @christophercook.co Hair & Makeup: @roseatelierco DJ: @echotalentmanagement Florist: @brontesflorals Gown Shop: @unveiledbridalsf Gown Designer: @kyhastudios @yhabride Suit Shop: @suitsupply Welcome Party Accessories: @stetsonusa @kemosabe1990 Caterer: @_hills_kitchen_ Bartender: @topshelfutah Lighting: @allouteventrental Save the Dates: @annelizabethprintstudio Invitations & Stationery: @kaushay.co, @alisamasonart Rentals: @allouteventrental Linens: @specialty.linens.utah, @nuagedesignsinc, @bbjlatavola

Community starts at the front door—and you all truly showed up in September! 🐝✨ At Hive Family Collective, we’re building the village every family needs to thrive in early parenthood. Last month was such a beautiful reminder of what happens when we connect parents across the Wasatch Back with genuine community, trusted support, and local resources from pregnancy through the early years. Here’s a look back at what we created together in September: 🫶 Interactive toddler cooking class 🤝 Connection-filled MamaBee Coffees 🫶 Pickleball fundraiser for our community programs 🤝 High alpine hiking & mountaintop yoga 🫶 Parenting workshop on navigating big emotions Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared a space, and helped strengthen our local village. We couldn’t do this without you. 💛🤝🫶 @_hills_kitchen_ @eventfulyoga @sproutlykids @parkcitygardens @olivepresscafe @redledges #hivefamilycollective #wasatchback #ittakesavillage #earlyparenthood #septemberrecap #utahparents #mamabee #parentsupport #communityfìrst
