Learning to hold all these feeeeelings at once❤️‍🔥 It’s been a strange stretch of weeks/months moving through depths of sadness, pain, joy, and everything woven between. Through it all, a few truths kept carrying me forward so here goes📝

🍋achingly lucky to have my family, because what a gift to be able to love this deeply and be loved just the same

🍋struck gold with friends who hold my corner, near or far, through my best days and my hardest ones

🍋learning to find the silver lining in every moment because there’s always something thankful for

🍋learning to take perspective from every corner and every person, because how I am learning so much from the youngest ones in my fam!!?

Random rambles but here’s a reminder (to myself really) to make the best lemonade out there when life throws you and your loved ones a whole bunch of lemons!!!!

We came for the black shirt. And we got the black shirt. Yeah, we fucking did it.

Hard to believe it’s been four weeks since Norseman. This post is a little overdue, but the week after the race, it felt good to unplug and just enjoy Norway. And I wanted some time to adequately reflect on the experience, and what an amazing experience it was.

All I’ll say here is that after learning about this race seven years ago and setting my sights on it then, @nxtri and the mystique of this race lived up to the hype. The fjord, the ferry, the terrain, the mountain, the finish line, the vibe, the community. All of it. I’ll get chills thinking about crossing that finish line for the rest of my life. I’m so fucking lucky that I get to do this shit.

Thanks to everyone who sent messages after the race. I sincerely appreciated each and every one of them.

These XTri races are hard. 5am starts, cold water and massive climbing on the bike and run. But it’s equally hard and stressful on the support crews. It takes a ton of logistical planning on top of just executing a swim, bike and run. I couldn’t have done this without the amazing support from @kmshaw78 @peixydonkey @allielf0103 and @_i.am.x_ all day long. They were my heroes that day.

Ate and drank my weight’s worth of pasta, spritz and wine, bumped into Pope Leo, got to explore the ruins again after a decade, went for my first EU football experience (Roma at Stadio Olímpico!!) thanks to @_i.am.x_ 🥹🤍
