Recently, I got my first tattoo. I got a tattoo in honor of Etika, my favorite content creator. As you may know, he passed away in 2019, and this tattoo is a symbol of his work, the impact he has had on my life, and a symbol for suicide awareness.

I went with Etika’s brother Cardinal (@_iam9ne) to his tattoo artist @gavoink in Brooklyn. I figured this would be the most sentimental and impactful way to do it, so I went all in.

After getting the tattoo, we headed over to the Etika mural for a photo op and to pay our respects to the iceman himself.

It was a great day and this was a long time coming. I will say that now that I’ve ripped the bandaid off, I feel I may want to get some other ideas I have engraved sooner rather than later.
