And just like that, the game I love playing the most has officially come to an end. It has been a dream come true to play this sport and I will forever be thankful to all my coaches, teammates, and supporters in my life who believed in me and helped mold me into the person and player that I am today. My last 5 years with ECU Volleyball has been a journey of a lifetime and it will always hold a special place in my heart. God definitely knew what he was doing when he led me here and that is something I will cherish forever.

Dear volleyball,
Thank you. Thank you for being my rock, my safe place, and the sport that’s made some of my dreams come true. So many tears, sweat, and bruises have taken me here to this day. I may have almost quit on you through my injuries, but I thank God and each and every person that has helped me push back and not to give up.
I wanna thank all my coaches that have supported me through the years (even the ones that didn’t support me) and have given me this amazing opportunity to play at the college level. I wanna thank my teammates over the years as well. I couldn’t have done it without y’all. I am so thankful for all the friendships I’ve gained through this sport. Most importantly I wanna thank my family. For the support, driving me to practices, supporting me at my games, etc. Thank you for letting me play and to love this game.
Last night I played in my last volleyball match as a college athlete. This team is so special and the hard work and heart did not go unnoticed. The culture we started here at ECU is gonna be a dynasty and I cannot wait to see it take off. Thank you to my teammates and coaches here at ECU for motivating me everyday and making the love of volleyball so easy. I love each and every one of you! 🖤🧡
