For our 5th year we want to shout about our amazing clients in every way we can, so from now until the end of the year we will be featuring a photographer or artist each Thursday. As part of this we will be producing a 10x8 print of each featured image with the plan to exhibit all of the images in an exhibition at the beginning of next year.

We are so privileged to work with such a broad range of photographers and artists who all have such a diverse range of practices and approaches to using the lab - we want to be able to reflect this on our platform and spend this year building an even stronger community.

2025, what a ride. To everyone who turned our space into a playground, a gallery, or sometimes just pure chaos - thank you. Thank you for showing your work, sharing your vision, experimenting, collaging, testing ideas, and generally making everything way more fun than we could have imagined. Whether your project made it into the carousel or stayed behind the scenes, you brought the energy, the laughs, the mess, and the magic. We couldn’t have done it without you, and honestly, we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.

Public After Dark - A friday series taken by the creatives of Manchester.

Last week we had @_india.mx capture the candid scenes of her evening here at public.

India found a film camera at home when she was 15 - now it comes with her everywhere. For her, it’s all about noticing the moments others might miss, and capturing the beauty most people walk past.

Competition shortlist and exhibition opening event 🏆

We are very happy to announce that the judges have now selected the 5 individuals that will be exhibited as part of the Moments of… Connection printed exhibition. The exhibition launches with an opening party @trackbrewingcotaproom on Thursday 10th April 6pm til late, where the overall winner will be announced. It is gonna be a banger of an evening with good music, good beer (obviously) and a great chance to socialise 🍻

All submitted works will be on display as part of a protected slideshow on the evening, so come and have a beer, see all the amazing photographic responses to the theme, look at some beautifully printed photographic works, see some old faces, meet some new and as you know we love a party so can only see it going one way!

As always we have been humbled by the sheer amount of submissions we have received, the responses to the theme of connection have been incredibly inspiring, it’s been good to see the way in which so many photographers have creatively responded to the brief, and how so much connects us as people.

Event is open to everyone so be there or be 6x6 (square) we cannot wait to see you there!

Big love CTL & Track
