POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Next stop: Limassol, Cyprus 🇨🇾🎬

In honor of Varas screening here, I’m thrilled to share a special script-to-screen look at how this story came to life. I've always seen other script to screen videos so making one for my own film was fun! 😋

Me and @anurajrajadhyaksha wrote this in August 2024. Since then we both have had different journeys as writers but this is our cherished collaboration ♥️

Huge thanks to @cyprushorrorsociety for including our film in this year’s selection. We can't wait for the audience in Limassol to see it on the big screen!
Long live cinema. 🥂✨

Some behind-the-scenes moments from our little "PHAMILY VECATION "Part 1 ❤️
So grateful to have been surrounded by some of the most incredible people and the best crew I could have ever asked for.
And endlessly grateful for the mentors, @gurmmeetsingh & @kapoorbaba who make this journey so special.
This one will always be special. ❤️

From sleepless nights and endless chai runs to pure chaos between takes, this wild crew became a real-life PHAMILY. Blood, sweat, laughter, and behind-the-scenes madness that went into bringing this beast to the big screen.
To the fabulous cast, the genius crew, and everyone who survived hot sun of Benaras to extremely cold nights of Jaisalmer —thank you for making every single day unforgettable. Now, we hand the chaos over to you guys. See you at the movies! 🍿🔫💥

Off to South Korea! 🇰🇷✨

Varas is making its next stop at the prestigious Cheongju International Short Film Festival @cheongju_cisff for its Korean Premiere!

So wish I could be there in person to celebrate, but sending all my love from afar. Huge, heartfelt gratitude to the festival curation team for welcoming our film with open arms.

It completely blows my mind that this small, humble story we made with so much love keeps finding new homes across the world. My heart is overflowing with gratitude. 🎬❤️✨

Glory has been lots and lots of laughter, full on drama, fights over nights and days of shoot still being there for each other the very next moment. It has been a family, it’s been an emotion to us.

The best part has been my team, I haven’t found one like that since. @vamos_vamjam used to say that we all are the founders and people from yamraj, nasty nutcrackers! But honestly it has been the best best 💋❤️

Special thanks to @parag.judi for editing this sick madness🫰🏽✨

The brief was movement.
The feeling was softness.

For a few days, we got to live inside a world of flowing fabrics, gentle light, thoughtful details, and stories shaped around women.

The kind of project that reminds you how powerful softness can be.

from our corner //

@blackhighlights_ , one of the coolest productions I've worked with!
@rhijutalukdar , thank you for the vision and trust.
@sdr_insignia , every frame carried a kind of quiet beauty that elevated everything around it.
@aakashbhutani , thank you for thinking of me and bringing me on board. This project exists in my memories because of the opportunity you gave me.

Always grateful for good people, good energy, and beautiful stories.

Some sets challenge you. some sets inspire you. This one somehow did both.

Built a world where every frame had to shimmer before the artists even stepped into it ✨
Because production design isn’t just background.. It’s the mood, the rhythm, the silent character inside every shot.

From a blank stage to the gritty, sweat-soaked reality of the Haryana Boxing Club. 🥊✨

As production designers on Glory, our goal for the HBC interior set was to build a space that felt heavy with history. Every element was intentionally crafted to tell a story—from the weathered textures of the brick walls and the distressed glass of the Coach Sir's cabin, to the faded glory of a packed trophy cabinet and that custom, hand-painted boxing mural overlooking the ring.

The inception of our design thought began with a research trip to Bhiwani—India’s 'Chhota Cuba'.

We wanted the audience to instantly feel the years of grit, discipline, and raw emotion that lived within these walls before a single line of dialogue was even spoken.

Swipe to see the set photographs, a few final frames from the show, and the incredible crew that brought this world to life. 🎬
Now streaming on Netflix! 🍿
