Hailing from McDonough, GA, Madison is a leader who blends academic excellence with a heart for her community.

A FOUNDATION OF EXCELLENCE. Madison’s journey at CAU is defined by her dedication to her craft and her commitment to the highest standards of scholarship. She attributes much of her growth to the prestigious organizations that have shaped her collegiate experience:

Her platform, Authentically You, Inside Out, focuses on leading with authenticity, empowering Black voices, and ensuring that every student feels seen and represented. She is committed to fostering an environment where identity is celebrated and voices are amplified.

GUIDED BY CORE VALUES. Madison’s leadership is driven by five essential pillars that cultivate her sense of self and define what she aims to give back to her peers:
• Ambition & Drive: Pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
• Faith: The foundation of her journey and her strength.
• Service: A commitment to uplifting the CAU family.
• Joy: Infusing positivity and light into the student experience.

THE ROAD AHEAD. As Madison prepares to serve the Class of 2029, she stands as a beacon of what it means to lead with integrity. Whether she is navigating complex supply chain concepts or advocating for student representation, Madison Howze is ready to find a way or make one.

A few days, a leap of faith, and a whole lot of advocating for myself ❤️🐾

I applied to the CAU Honors Program not knowing if I’d get accepted—and ended up joining a legacy that’s been shaping Black excellence since the program launched in the early 1980s.

I walked into Mr. Warren’s office just trying to see if I was even eligible for the Honors Program. He broke down the requirements, sent me the application, and I got straight to work—letters of recommendation, essay, everything.

A few days later, I opened my email and saw “Congratulations.” Then came the invite to campus, meeting the team, learning the expectations, and getting a small tour of what would soon be my next step.

What makes this even more special is that CAU’s Honors Program has been building leaders since the early 1980s—rooted in academic excellence, community service, and creating opportunities for Black scholars to thrive. Becoming part of that history means everything to me.

I wasn’t sure I’d be accepted, but I still showed up for myself. When you advocate for yourself, God and the universe do the rest. 🖤✨
