Can feeling love increase your cardiovascular capacity?

The literature doesn’t support this; but allowing yourself to feel, to be seen, to be fully known just might be the actual training.

To all my nervous system and vagus nerve nerds out there, please weigh in. Is there anything real here, or am I just telling myself a nice story?

@louisanicola_ , any thoughts to share on this topic?

Did you know there’s a raicilla and tequila distillery right outside of Sayulita? 🌵🔥

Perfect for a group outing... adult adults, kid adults, and actual kids. We brought 12 of our closest friends to Cachasol Farm Distillery and it was such a memorable experience.

The owner James walked us through the entire process, from agave to bottle, raicilla and tequila both. Then we sat down to a farm-to-table meal where most of what we ate was literally grown steps away. While we tasted award-winning tequila, the kids ran wild on the property, playground, frog catching, the whole thing.

Beautiful land. Real hospitality. Food that hits different when it’s this fresh.

If you’re anywhere near Sayulita or Punta Mita, put this on your list. You will not regret it. 🇲🇽✨

Over the past three years, we’ve come to learn that Alchemize House has become an important part of many people’s experience and daily lives in Sayulita. And while we’re proud of what we’ve built, in so many ways it is only a reflection of the beauty that Sayulita already is.

This place, this light, this water, these streets, this community. We are, at best, a small mirror for what Sayulita already gives so freely.

It was the magic of this place, and the transformation it created in me, that planted the seed for this whole concept. Sayulita came first. Alchemize just followed.

When I look around at the scenes and moments that surround me, both inside Alchemize and out in this small surf town, I feel exactly like the voice in this video. In awe of all of it. 🪄

If Sayulita is calling you, I urge you to heed that calling.

And if you do, we’d love to be part of your time here. 🫶🏽💛🧡

Some highlights and moments from this year.

Often times, things don’t always pan out on the timelines we want or exactly in the ways we hope. This entrepreneurial journey has tested my resilience, grit, and determination more than I could have ever imagined.

But what makes it all worth it is that through it, I get to surround myself with awe-inspiring people. People that lift me up; creators, builders, artists, and just downright baddies. And people that say YES!

The older I get the more I realize that the only real measure (at least for me) of a life well lived is the quality of the relationships you have. Surrounding yourself with people that inspire you, where there is mutual respect and admiration, and that fill your cup is my primary driver for happiness.

From LA, to San Diego, to Las Vegas. From Sayulita to CDMX. To anyone and everyone who has shared a laugh with me, danced with me, cried with me, filled my cup and (hopefully) let me fill yours this year—thank you.

Thank you for seeing me. For inspiring me. For being a part of this journey. 🥹🫂🫶🏽🔥
