Without a doubt, this project has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my career. It pushed me far beyond my comfort zone, yet I have rarely felt so supported, welcomed, and safe within a creative process.
Thank you for the trust, the inspiration, the challenges, the laughter, and every moment we shared on and off stage. Forever grateful 🖤

And of course a big thanks to @ma_dancecollective who curated this magic event ✨

It's time to set it all on fire.

What a beautiful evening. 🤍

First of all, a huge thank you to all the dancers and choreographers for sharing your beautiful performances with us.

Thank you to everyone who came to watch and support us. We were almost fully booked, and seeing so many people gather in the theater meant so much to us.

From the moment the doors opened, hearing the excited conversations and laughter in the foyer and auditorium filled us with joy. Throughout the evening, your warm applause and encouragement after each performance made our hearts so full. Thank you also for all the kind words and thoughtful feedback after the show.

A very special thank you to Torsten at Theatre Pool for your hard work, kindness, flexibility, and support throughout the entire process. Thank you for providing such a beautiful space and for helping us with everything we needed along the way.

This evening would not have been possible without everyone who contributed to it. We are deeply grateful to all artists, collaborators, supporters, and audience members who shared this space with us.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We look forward to continuing this journey and hope to see you again soon.

With love,

Ma. 間。

Ampelos is a Berlin-based dance collective founded by choreographers Phoebe McDowell and Noah am Ende. Rooted in movement-first creation, Ampelos crafts intimate, detail-driven performances where emotion is felt through the entire body.

Since 2025, Ampelos has choreographed, performed, and produced work across Berlin, including the ongoing performance series Dredging, the dance film SKIN HOOK, and works such as Rotten Tower, MEAT, and QUEER MONSTERS.

Invited by Ma collective, Ampelos premieres a new work, Doom Suture by Noah am Ende, on May 23 at Theater Pool alongside works by Aya Misaki and Veronica Parlagreco.

Doom Suture explores the painful reality of loving someone living with addiction — where intimacy, fear, and separation become deeply physical experiences.

Ja Noah am Ende, Phoebe McDowell, Drella Silverman, Jazlyn Goldsworthy, and Leonor Campillo.
