We held a little memorial for Ruby and Ronin last night. We miss them so much! Thank you to everyone that has reached out to send us love - we really appreciate it!

I can’t believe I’m writing this. We lost our perfect little girl, Ruby earlier this morning. She was having a standard procedure done and had a severe respiratory attack and did not make it. We’re crushed. We’re heartbroken. We lost Ronin a little over two weeks ago and now Ruby is gone too. We don’t know how we can keep going. Ruby wasn’t handling the loss of Ronin well and we think that maybe she wanted to be with him.

To my dearest Ruby - when we met you 8 years ago, we knew you were special. You were the silliest, funniest little pup we ever met. You were perfect and you loved us perfectly. You and your brother were the best things that ever happened to us. Maybe you missed him and needed to meet him at the rainbow bridge sooner than we thought. We weren’t ready for you to leave us - I don’t think we could ever have been ready. But I know you and your brother are together now playing in a big field with friends just waiting for us. Thank you for saving us, Ruby. Thank you for loving us and making us the happiest parents in the world. We love you without limit and we can’t wait til we see you and hug you and your brother again at the rainbow bridge. We love you forever and ever, our perfect Ruby.
