They run in— when we run OUT.👩🏻‍🚒🧑🏿‍🚒⁣⁣👨🏼‍🚒🧑🏾‍🚒👨🏻‍🚒
⁣⁣
I could not be a 1st responder—yet the rest of my family IS. This is not a job, this is a calling. This is a movement. They are a big part of the answer + the solution to issues we #civilians will never directly understand. I still ask them Fire/ Med questions — in awe. I simply don’t get it or how they deal with this everyday. This is not my brain— or many’s it is theirs. ⁣
⁣
If there’s anything civilians CAN do, it’s to support them, their families— push them, every step of the way. California is literally under siege, and they are saving us, as much as we can be saved. ⁣⁣ My thoughts + prayers go out to all the men + women working to keep LIFE + PROPERTY alive and safe during these West Coast fires— this is not a cat in a tree. ⁣
⁣⁣
TAG a FIREMAN , a 1st RESPONDER who could use this right now⁣! ₓₒ⋆♡. Pray for them, 💔🙏🏼🖤 ⁣⁣

Remembering those who DO NOT have the luxury of escaping Labor, today . . . ⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Amidst the #covid19 hoopla, the #LAFD has been fighting relentless blaze, riots, arsen + weather related fire emergencies, roasting their asses to save our state. Fire fatalities, 3rd degree burns, death— happen daily, and is totally overlooked. Sadly the media chooses to highlight mask-violators + social distance “etiquette” instead 😷 ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Take a moment to thank a firefighter , be grateful we have these humans working, our state + country depends on them 🇺🇸 🚒 🇺🇸⁣⁣⁣ THANK YOU @jasonray02 @firestation35thedukes @losangelesfiredepartment for your service, your courage, your patriotism and fight for our state and nation. I back you + frontlines always. ⁣⁣⁣

🚒✨❤️Cheers to 2019❤️✨
As a fellow fire wife Jennifer @_jeffur states..
“Our year to find a BALANCE, because figuring out how to spend more time together when work drives us apart has not been easy. Balance for us is making time together. I am fortunate enough to stay home and raise our two daughters, we had our second baby 18 months ago and having one is definitely easier than two so this last year has been challenging for me, but has required him to work more for the both of us so I can stay home. Finding quality time and doing things together as a family is where we gain all the rewards for his hard work. Our daughters do realize when he is gone and miss him so I’m going to make it a point to visit him FF/PM Pennington at FS 82 more and be more supportive of his downtime as well. It’s never easy when they’re away days at a time. Only a Fire Wife understands hardships of being a fire wife. All be it rewarding and an honor, the struggle is REAL! #FireWifeLife #housewivesofLAFD #LAFDhousewife #StationRugRats #BalancingFireLife #LAFD
