I am posting this, filled with love and gratitude because I’m kicking off my 8th annual shoe and coat drive for Nevada Youth Network! Can you believe it’s been eight years?! This is my absolute favorite time of year. Not only do I get to spend time with family, but I also get to do this for the kids at NYN. “Look good, feel good” is so true, and a fresh pair of sneakers and a new coat can make a real difference in a child’s life.
I was a little nervous about taking this on without HauteChix to help spread the word, but I have so much faith in all of you—my amazing family, friends, and friends of friends—that we’ll make this happen! My deadline is December 19th. The sooner I get donations, the better, so I can organize everything and make sure I have all the right sizes. Every little bit helps! If you have any new shoes or coats you’d like to donate, I’m happy to meet up with you. Let’s do this! Let’s get these kids looking fresh and feeling great for the new year!
