2025 asked a lot from me. There were so many challenges in every way possible but also very beautiful things came my way. I got to meet the most wonderful people and made new lovely memories.
I’m so grateful for the patience, love and support around me especially from my family and friends. Life keeps changing, and I’m trying to meet it with appreciation.
In 2026 I’m thankful for the opportunity to perform music I’ve loved for so long from one of my favourite composers in beautiful venues. I will be singing an alto aria from Bach’s B minor mass on these dates:
February 5th at 8pm Musica Antica The Hague
February 6th at 12:30 Tivoli Vredenburg Utrecht
February 7th Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden
February 8th Muziekgebouw aan t’IJ Amsterdam
I hope to see you there and wishing everyone a great 2026!✨♥️🎶

“Moonlight” by Roger Quilter performed during yesterday’s Lied concert with the most amazing @_jenesia 🌙🌾

Under the silver moonlight, flutter the great white wings
Woo’d by the soft night breezes tender with whispered things
Silently onward gliding into the silent night
Like to a fairy vessel crowned with a fairy light
Whisper O soft night breezes, murmur your tender tune
Carry the white wings onward, under the silver moon

💛 To You, from Me at 23 💌

For the first time in many years, I genuinely enjoyed celebrating my birthday.
The past few years haven’t been the easiest with many obstacles along the way, but this day I felt only happy.

To You — my lovely friends, colleagues, family, and teachers: I’m so grateful. You brighten my life not only through your support, but also in the smallest moments — in kindness, in laughter, in your presence. I hold close the memories we share, your unwavering support and love.

Recently I was lucky enough to meet wonderful new people, and in a time when I also faced loss, I can also find comfort in knowing that life still offers new beginnings, new friendships, and reasons to be thankful. You remind me that while I can stand on my own, your presence and kindness around me really does make life so much more beautiful.

Little by little, I think I’m finally finding myself.
I’m also singing now — one of the things I love most in this world and sometimes I still can’t believe I get to do it .

I know the downs won’t just vanish, but I now see a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel.
So here’s to 23, and may it be a really good one 🍀

Thank You ❤️
