Jee’s Why Alpha Gam Wednesday 🌟🫂

“When I first came to college, I had a hard time making new friends. Then when I met the girls of AGD it clicked instantly! Everyone was so welcoming and so kind, and from the very beginning, I felt like I could really be myself in this chapter. It didn’t take long for me to feel at home with all the girls, and to realize that this is what I really wanted out of my college experience. I’ve made some of my favorite memories and met so many people who have made college so much more special. Joining Alpha Gam has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I honestly can’t imagine college without these girls. I’m so thankful I found a place where I feel like I belong and can be completely myself. I can’t wait to see what the rest of my time in AGD brings, and can’t wait to meet PC ‘26!!“

Ivana’s Why Alpha Gam Wednesday 🌟🫂

“3 days before the recruitment sign up deadline was up, I was stalling in my apartment calling all my friends and asking them whether or not I should just do it. Going into my sophomore year, I had the goal to expand my college experience as much as possible. I debated whether or not sorority life was for me, especially given I hadn’t met anyone like me that was a part of it. I was reluctant to sign up for recruitment, but ended up doing it anyways because I told myself ‘there’s nothing to lose.’ Going into recruitment with an open mind and an open heart is what brought me the best people I could’ve ever met. I went in looking for true friendships, people that cared for me as a person, that valued my different live experiences, and that uplifted me for them. Now that I’ve been an official Alpha Gam for way over a year, I can confidently say that I have never once felt like I don’t belong. It not only heightened my college experience but it made me more confident in myself. Now going into my senior year I couldn’t be more grateful to have gotten out of my comfort zone and tried something that felt right in my heart.”
