my long overdue love letter to cdt (better late than never)🐦💙

Dance has always been a constant in my life. Through all the seasons and changes, it has always been the thing that’s kept me grounded. It’s given me lifelong friends, unforgettable memories, and experiences I’ll carry with me forever.

I want to thank Creighton Dance Team for being a part of my dance and life journey and for giving me the best four years ever! CDT opened the door to so many new opportunities, taught me countless life lessons, and gave me the best group of girls a girl could ever ask for.

During the toughest and busiest weeks of school, practices, games, and workouts gave me a place to escape all the stress and be present. My teammates quickly became my best friends, mentors, role models, and comedians all built into one! Thank you for the never-ending laughs, the late nights, the memories, and the experiences of a lifetime.

As much as I’m sad to close this chapter, my cup is overflowing with gratitude! I have loved getting to serve as captain for three years and watching the program evolve, while also playing a small part in that growth. I’m so grateful for our coach, every teammate, and every faculty member who helped shape CDT into what it is today. Although I won’t be on the team anymore, I’ll always be just a jump, hop, and skip away (Creighton Dental School), cheering you guys on! 🥹💙

As always… rdj 💙

“How did your professor support you during your first year at the Heider College of Business?” We asked. Students answered. 🗣️✅

Whether it’s a classroom discussion that sparked new ideas or a professor who always made time to check in, these connections make Creighton feel like home and help you grow in and out of the classroom. 💡🏡

Every Bluejay’s journey starts somewhere. These stories show how reaching out to a professor early can shape your path in big ways, and here, that support is always within reach. 🐦🤝
