“Holmes Is Where the Heart Is” 🔎💗 I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with this insanely talented cast and crew. Throughout our rehearsal process and run, I was able to work as an actor, pianist, and go on for my understudy track! Thank you to our lovely director Veronica Santoyo for believing in all of us and making this a wonderful process. 📸: Kip Shawger

Today is the last day that I get to live in this character, with these humans, at this place. This whole process has been so beautiful and rejuvenating and exhausting and exhilarating and hard and fun and wild. I’d been away from theater for over eight years before joining this incredible cast and to say that this process has taught me so much about myself and about theatre in its new form is an understatement. Theatre has changed so much for the better, and maybe I just got lucky with this cast and crew, but I feel so hopeful and creatively fulfilled by each and every one of my fellows. Getting to watch them live in and embody these characters has been a joy that has gotten me through some really tough months this year. . To my forever 🐙: girl, they just don’t get you. But I do. I feel like I always have, and getting to be you these last several months has been the honor of my life. It is so rare to see a character that is FAT and soooo unbothered. You are full confidence, verve, and spitfire and being a part of your world (😉) has instilled a piece of that in me as well. Thank you for reintroducing me to myself. I love you, lil squid. . One day more 😘
