FOR THE LOVE OF III. The third annual edition of the fashion design-driven incubator & annual runway presentation for emerging designers in Detroit took over the cavernous halls of the iconic Detroit Public Library.

For the Detroit Month of Design, the program ran by @bai1eyelayne @r4tgrll & @7_8_15_19_20 selects three designers every year to interpret the theme ,,FOR THE LOVE OF…” in their own way. These Detroit-born & based designers are mentored over the course of two years, creating & presenting collections that reflect the mindset and craftsmanship of Detroit.

Designers: @3thryl @bymajestyhope @dovvski @liagabrielleatelier
Mentors: @bai1eyelayne @r4tgrll @7_8_15_19_20

Affectionately referred to at Detroit’s backyard, Belle Isle spans 985 acres as the largest city-owned state park in the US.

Last fall, the @belleisleconservancy invited the public to step into the future of the island with the Belle Isle Commons for the #DetroitMonthofDesign

Through interactive installations and community-led visioning, attendees of all ages shared their stories & dreams for the future of the park.

Congrats to the Belle Isle Team on this week’s launch of the digital rebrand with @lafayetteamerican. With Inclusive Design practices at the heart of the island’s future, we’re so excited to see what comes next.

Couldn’t have been more perfect for a Mother’s Day celebration! First brunch and a little light shopping then surprised her with a bestie family hangout at a beautiful tulip farm. We all had a ball with the families coming together! Happy Mothers Day to all!
