Striking 101 went 5–0 last night, pushing the Lucha Gang MMA streak to 13–0 (2025). 💥

Malik opened the night and gave everyone a scare with a split decision that should’ve been unanimous. He showed heart, skill, and growth.

Jay Bittner followed with a flawless debut. Dominant from start to finish and closing the show in the first round with a slick arm triangle.

Mike Osiak showed high-level MMA IQ, closing the distance and switching to grappling to shut down an unorthodox striker before he could get lucky.

Elias Aminov delivered again with crowd pleasing action, setting up a smooth transition to the armbar for another highlight finish.

Erick Castro capped off the night with a strong, professional performance and a clean unanimous decision victory. 👊

Special shout-out to Sensei Jonathan—a true leader and inspiration for both fighters and students. Whether it’s helping in fight camp or running the gym day-to-day, he sets the standard for all of us. 🙏

Big thanks to everyone from Striking 101 who showed up and showed love. I’ll see you all back in class on Monday. Let’s keep this streak alive. 🚀🔥

Walked into enemy territory and came out a champion. Big love to the team that stepped in last minute and rode with me through the fire. New faces, same hunger. We made it happen🥇🗽. I might walk into the cage alone but spiritually all my people with me 🫶🏾. #flyweight #champion #dangerous

Story time :

Blessed to do what I do so that i can share 39 years of knowledge in the Martial Arts with others.

Also in those 39 years I've been blessed to have met and continue to meet some amazing people.

My Joshu @coachjunhlee reached out to me to see if I can help these two rising stars @kvxngpapacito & @yen.dee_ who were flying out from Vegas for their title fights.

Funny enough they train with the men, the myth, The legends @anthony.njokuani and @dcblackkobra

Two gents who have done so much in our sport and deserve their flowers. I owe a debt of gratitude to @anthony.njokuani who has helped and been there for my student Joshu Luke Todd from STRIKING 101 - LAS VEGAS @striking101lv in his fights.

This was the universe telling me this was my chance to do the same for these gents. From the moment they landed in NY the communication was there from what they were doing for weight cut, to what the weigh ins, to what they ate for dinner, breakfast the next day and have them with our STRIKING 101 Family at the fights.

To make the fight night even more special, I was blessed to have my ninjas help me corner them towards victory: My Bellator MMA fighter @_k2krivera who is the king of underground MMA #IYKYK & Renzo Gracie Black Belt & Pro MMA Fighter @andyjimenezmma

Truly blessed what this world of martial arts has done for me and others and this is what continues to drive me to do more for others.

Thank you @flexfightseries & @flexmatchmaker for allowing me and my students to help these gents win their titles.

This is the way
