Can you skate without griptape? Yes

Do we recommend it? No, but we do recommend @peppergrip G5 sheets for Smooth flicks and grip to roll away clean.

Go Skateboarding Day Utrecht 2026: Leidseveer Stairs

For many skaters, this session was a special one. The first big best trick at Leidseveer since Wild in the Streets 2006, when skaters came together to save the legendary spot, The Yard.

This time, @skatestoreutrecht hosted the session, bringing the community back to one of Utrecht’s most iconic stair sets. From first makes to heavy hammers, the spot delivered once again.

This is the third of four recap videos from this year’s Go Skateboarding Day Utrecht.

Go Skateboarding Day Utrecht 2026: Jaarbeursplein Skatepark

Kick-off at JB skatepark where @plankwijven hosted a best trick session on the airbag, @dopper_official hooked everyone up with free bottles, and @thevillagecoffee kept the skaters going with free iced coffee ☕️💧

Big thanks to everyone who came through and made the first spot such a vibe.
