I used to compare myself to those favored by God. “When will I hear Him?” “See Him move in my life?” I believed, but lived in sin. Prayed for freedom, yet returned to the same things that kept me from His presence. I spoke of Jesus, yet misrepresented Him.

For 12 years, I was held captive by sin — tired of praying without breakthrough. But Jesus had other plans.

It was never about religion. It’s always been about relationship. Reading His Word changed everything. I now hear His voice. I see Him move. And I know who I am in Him. The devil called me by my sin — but Jesus calls me by name.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… “If you seek me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”
— Jeremiah 29:11–14 (NLT)

Getting baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit broke every generational curse God promised would end with me. He rescued me from sexual sin, doubt, and shame. I wasn’t created to live distant from Him — but for communion with Him.

I am now free from my past. My identity is no longer what the world says — I belong to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

“He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy… He gave us new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.”
— Titus 3:5–7 (NLT)

If God saved me from the depths I was in — He can save you too.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son… not to judge the world, but to save it.”
— John 3:16–17 (NLT)
