Blind contour drawing with your fine arts auntiesssss ❤️‍🔥✍🏽 Always will be my go-to low-effort, no-pressure, high-awatak way to stretch the creative braincells + warm up hand-eye coordination (but most days I just do it bc it’s funny haha) #blindcountour #drawing

Last night with the Design Alumni Community of UP Cebu 🙌 Learned three things! 1. Some feelings never really go away, haha. I still get nervous just being near the Fine Arts / Design Department 😂 No real reason to be—it’s such a supportive space—but old ghosts of sleepless nights and nervous critique still resurface! 2. We. Are. Old. I told the students at the reg table my student number and one said, “Oh, I was just six years old” 😂 3. The design program in UPC has really grown!Flourished, even. And it’s not stopping anytime soon with the faculty and a community that continues to show up! Soooo good to catch up with our professors and peers and get a glimpse of what’s ahead. Best part was laughing about the things I used to cry about 😂 Excited for what’s next for @design.upcebu and the broader Cebuano design community! P.S. Swipe till the end for arts and design babies from the first Arts and Design Week, 2014 👶

We’ll have to delay the introductions for now as we’re currently in the process of determining who we are & what story we want to tell as creators as we exist and interact in this creative space. Guess we’ll figure that out as we go. . In the mean time, we’ll be sharing some past works (2019 & older) / weekend hustles, thus #WaloWaloWeekends (more to that later 😅), squeezed in between day jobs. Hopefully, you’ll get a good grasp on who we are as creatives. . Hello Cebu/PH Creative Scene, we exist! 👋🏽 .
