We did it! Kayla is dropped off at college and it felt so right. I cried twice, but mainly because my heart was deeply happy to see her so happy.

So proud of you, Kayla! Go all in and soak it all up. ❤️

🥹 My heart is thirsty! Soaking up our last few days with Kayla before she leaves for college! Whether it’s my hormone imbalance or just my momma’s aching heart, I flip flop between excitement, denial, sadness, and confidence. 😃😵‍💫😢🤩

No matter what though, I have no doubt Kayla will crush it at Colgate (Go Raiders!) and thrive in this next chapter.

Until then though, we will eat lobsters, chase golf balls, take naps together, and just focus on the everyday little things.

Anyone else feeling these mix of emotions?
