“The vision becomes reality only when the community is built. When our combined dedication to our craft is expressed. With time, collaboration, patience and effort we can then show the observer a vision birthed into existence. Without the whole process, it’s simply an idea.”

Please take a moment to observe the brilliant Photographs, Models, Hair, Makeup, Nails.
Thanks to all who donated dried flowers to the cause.

Every single energy made “The Pile VI - Ripen & Rot” exist.

When all the craziness is worth it, there is no better feeling 🥰🙏🏾. From the moment I got the email from the one and only @house.of.hendo that Kelly wanted me on board as a model and to work alongside one of my favourite humans @lisatuff_tilu as her key assistant MUA I was so excited...and a bit nervous at the same time 🙈 Yes I've worked in Sephora as a beauty consultant and did many makeovers, and yes I've done my own makeup for countless runways many times...BUT never have I combined the two and did makeup for models walking the same runway as me! This was taking it next level, and I accepted the challenge. How could I not when I have so many people believing in me ❤️ From creative zoom calls, to the beautiful chaos of backstage, straight onto the runway, I am so happy that I trusted myself and my knowledge to spread my wings and try out some big girl stuff! Thank you to my beautiful models that really hyped me up and shared such beautiful moments with me and to the whole @fashionarttoronto team for your never ending support and hard work. Teenage makeup loving Kim couldn't be more proud 🥹💯❤️

Let’s start with THE MAKEUP 🤩 💄 🪄

It all began with a vision… and we all know that the mind of Kelly Henderson @house.of.hendo , has a way with the wind and a precious kind of creative purity ✨

She showed me some sketches , and gifted me with 1,000 dried flowers to re-create into something new 🤩The gift was getting to create an individual colour palettes, custom lashes and placement for each model and design ! Whooooa 🫠🙌 Such a dream !!

I got to watch my team follow the placements, and create magic beyond what we hoped for 🙏 HUGE shout out to our Hair + Makeup team for your innate vision and skills 🙏

I always like to start shows with a little energy cleanse, movement .. and connective practice to ground our energy and dive into pure presence 🫶 They seem to enjoy it hehe :)

THANK YOU Kelly for having us … this collection was moving, majestic and beyond words ! Watching your creations roll out is endlessly inspiring 👑

A special thank youuu to my honey @whatitiswhatitshallbe for the extra set of hands, heart and making the late nights a little sweeter 🙏

Stay close for the next few vids … Images are in and I’m sooo excited to share 🙌🤗🩵
