One French roll, two looks… and I’m still torn! 😍

Creating this updo at NES with Influance Hair Care was all about showing how natural hair can be elevated for a high-fashion moment or for a curly girl who simply wants to dress up her natural hair. I pulled from my bridal styling skills and cut up a mesh donut bun to create cushion, giving the shape extra height, support, and a little drama. ✨

The right products and tools make creating so much fun, and getting two looks in one makes it even better! I loved those curls in the first look, but when we switched it up with two-strand twists for day two of classes, I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite.

Which one did y’all prefer: the curls or the twisted updo? Either way, I love them both! 🤎

• Curls on top: Honey Almond Foam + Organic Styling Gel
• Flat twist: Honey and Avocado Twisting Gel
• Hairline details: Sea Moss Spritz to set the finger-curled twists for that baby hair effect

Nothing but GOD. 🙌🏽
A week ago I lived out a dream of mine! To stand on a big stage, teach stylists from around the world, and serve alongside incredible educators with Influance Hair Care… I know who opened that door.

In 2017, I attended my first educator training in the 757. I wasn’t selected, but the dream stayed with me. I kept building my confidence, mastering my craft, and learning how to teach with purpose. Nine years later, standing in that dream at NES was a full circle moment. 🥹 Every opportunity to educate in my community and pour into my team helped prepare me for this.

Angelice, you were the BEST roommate! From meeting at tech training in 2017 to sharing a room at NES, what a blessing. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and reminding me to pop out! 🤍

A HUGE thank-you to my model for being so flexible. With me driving straight from a wedding in Richmond and getting a ticket on the way was a journey, I was Tiiiied😅 But we made it and created beautiful looks together!

To everyone in my TWO packed-out classes, thank you for your questions, energy, and engagement. To the stylists and local reps who supported me, especially @rickydward , who recommended me as an educator, thank you for believing in me. Hearing reps share how my classes helped them better understand and sell the products meant so much. Knowing I made an impact was the greatest gift.

And thank you to Mr. Rudy Artist for awarding me my first Image Award! Such a special honor to add to an unforgettable experience. 🏆

I’m grateful I didn’t give up on the dream. God, thank You. I can’t wait to see what You have next. ✨
