Today, we remember Guy Preston Bailey and celebrate the life, passion, and legacy he left behind.

Though we lost Preston in 2018, his love for the arts continues to create opportunities for the next generation of storytellers through the Guy Preston Bailey “Rising Star” Memorial Scholarship, established in partnership with the Bailey family.

We’re proud to honor the students carrying his legacy forward:

Myia Treat — Acting for Film, NYC
Jacob Numerick — BFA Filmmaking, NYC
Ahana Ghosh — Cinematography, LA
Ricardo Negron — Acting for Film, SoBe
Penelope Botticelli — Acting for Film, LA
Keegan McGee — Musical Theatre, NYC

Through this scholarship, Preston’s name continues to be part of the NYFA community—supporting artists as they find their voice, pursue their craft, and build their own path in the arts.

We’re grateful to the Bailey family for helping keep his memory and generosity alive through the next generation of storytellers.

Remembering Preston today—and always.

Love letter to NYFA ❤️‍🩹💌

This year has been one of the most rewarding, exciting, challenging, and amazing years of my life. Meeting each and every one of you has made me realize why I chose to do this. I’m forever greatful for the experiences I had and the friendships that I have made. So much love for these people and this program 🤍

Meet Keegan McGee — a recipient of the Guy Preston Bailey “Rising Star” Memorial Scholarship and a musical theatre student at NYFA.

Scholarships make it possible for students to continue training, creating, and building their careers.

At the 10 ARTS Foundation, our mission is to support NYFA storytellers by expanding access to creative education through scholarships and opportunities that remove financial barriers.

When you donate, you’re not just supporting a program —
You’re supporting a person, a path, and a future in the arts.

Meet Keegan McGee, a Guy Preston Bailey “Rising Star” Memorial Scholarship recipient and Musical Theatre student at New York Film Academy (NYC) ⭐

Originally from St. Augustine, Florida, Keegan is a singer-actor currently earning her BFA in Musical Theatre at NYFA. You may have seen her light up the stage as Judy in 9 to 5—one of her most recent performances on the NYFA stage.

Keegan credits her growth to the constant support of her family, friends, and teachers, who continue to challenge her to work hard and keep raising the bar. With talent, dedication, and heart, she’s building a strong foundation for what’s ahead.
