Zoomania “ Hoop For Success Camp” 2023 @zoomania_sportswear @zoomaniafoundation

Teaching these lessons to the next generation at basketball camp – giving their all, on and off the court.

Dribbling through life’s challenges with teamwork, dedication, and a good focused attitude. Just like on the court, in life, we learn the power of sacrifice and the importance of never giving up. 🏀🌟 #LifeLessons #BasketballCamp”

Lack of intensity is one of the biggest mistakes a lot of folks make

😤 Whether your goal is performance or to change body composition, intent matters.

⚡ If you're training for power, explode at the concentric portion of the lift (upwards motion of the exercise).

💪🏽 If you're trying to lose fat and gain muscle ("tone up"), your last rep should be at failure or 1-2 reps from failure. I'm sorry, these group classes ain't gonna cut it for long. You gotta push yourself if you want results.

📈 You have to continually progress and good way to do that is to increase your intensity. Try to beat your last performance in the gym by weight, reps, tempo, or even form. There's so many ways to progress.

💡 However, an easy way to do this to use a weight or exercise that allows you to only be about to do about 0-2 reps maximum on your final rep.

Get out there and push yourself 😉

Be joyful in everything you do. Learn to enjoy the journey… These are just a few things I live by. The other one is “SINK OR SWIM” when I’m just having one of those days lol the point is to never quit. An unstoppable mindset is powerful 💕💕
