First day of FOURTH Grade. Where DID all the time go?! Praying over you a little harder today.

May you open your heart to new friends. Open your ears to hear your teacher. Open your mind to learn new things. Open your hands to help others. Open your mouth to speak kind words and Open your heart to love like Jesus. Lord, I know you are always with these children and teachers. Keep them safe this school year 💙

Maddox wrapped up year 4 of Jefferson Baseball camp yesterday. This is his favorite one all summer. Grateful for the @jefferson.baseball program for spending time with the little guys during this camp!

He placed third in best arm for his age group and he told me “ I gotta work harder, mom. I’m gonna be like those guys one day”

I’m so proud of this kid. He never loses sight of his love of the game and he is always wanting to work harder to get better.

He even got a picture with his most favorite person, Coach Brycen.

On 10/2/2016, at 10:16 am, my life changed forever. I was given the most precious gift and my favorite job, being your mom.

Maddox Tate, I cannot believe you are 9 today. Where does the time go? We’ve been growing up together and you have taught me so much about myself and others.

Here are 9 things I love about you (but there are way more)

1. You make friends everywhere you go.
2. Your sense of adventure. Always ready for a roadtrip.
3. Your love for animals.
4. Your kind heart.
5. Your belly laughs.
6. How you love to go to the library like me.
7. Your love for Jesus.
8. Your obsession with Chick-fil-A.
9. How you never try to be anyone but yourself.

You’re my baseball loving, goofy, kindhearted, one of a kind kiddo and I’m so glad I get to be your mama.

Happy 9th Birthday, bubs 💙

This post is a little late but I just have too many words for one of the best days of the year.

7.18.1997 - I became a big sister. But it’s not about me. It’s about you, Sissy. Year 25 earth side has closed and year 26 is starting.

You’re so brilliant and beautiful. You light up rooms when you enter. You are loyal to those you hold dear. Your compassion for others runs deep. Your drive to achieve your dreams dazzles. You never stop striving to be your best self, even when days are hard.

Being your sister has been one of the best names I’ve been given in this life. Watching you be an Aunt has been the best and I hope you never forget that to MT, you’ve hung the moon and stars.

You might be my little sister. But you’re everything I want to be when I grow up.

You’ll forever be my always, Boo. Keep being YOU.

Happy Happy Birthday! 🎉

I love you a million Swedish fish ❤️
