Thank you. Tallying the money raised from our event, Puck Cancer NJ has now raised over $37,000 raised in a year and reached our goal of $25,000 in 2026 in just 5 months. If you had told me when this idea first started that we would raise nearly $40,000 in just 13 months, I never would have believed you. What started as a single all-star game has become something far bigger than I ever imagined and far bigger than any of us. Beyond the All-Star Game itself, this cause is deeply personal to me. A few years ago, my Aunt Anita was diagnosed with breast cancer, and this event was created in her honor. Being able to raise money and awareness for someone I love means so much to me. Breast cancer has impacted my family in more ways than one. My Great Aunt Edie also lost her battle with the disease when I was only a year old. This cause is something that has affected my family in many ways. I want to thank everyone who donated, supported, sponsored, volunteered, or played in the game. This wouldn’t have been possible without your support. I also want to thank the Susan G. Komen Foundation, especially Jenifer Hockenberger, for her guidance, support, and partnership in helping make this event possible. Last but not least, I want to thank Logan, Snowden, and Alex. Without their dedication and hard work, Puck Cancer NJ would be nowhere near where it is today. Puck Cancer’s mission is far from over. We will continue using the game we love to raise money and spread awareness for those affected by breast cancer. Thank you for being part of this journey.
