Flannels on our backs, funnel cake sugar on our fingers, and nowhere else we need to be. 🍂🤎

TOUCH GRASS is our little corner of the world where the plans are simple: lay out a blanket, let the music play, pass the funnel cake, and get to know the people around you. A place to catch the afternoon sun and remember that going out doesn’t always have to mean going to the club.

One of my “whys” in competing was to use my platform to shine a light on the incredible people and organizations making a difference right here at home.
Meeting Wendy, the founder and director of @artpopstreetgallery , was one of those special connections. From our first meeting, our hearts connected, and it has been an absolute privilege to share ArtPop as one of my platforms—and even celebrate its mission on an international stage! ❤️
Tonight, we celebrate 13 years of ArtPop and the incredible artists, designers, models, and everyone who has poured their heart and talent into making ArtPop what it is today.
And what an amazing 13 years it has been! The work of our local artists is being seen not only throughout our communities, but around the world—from Times Square to Belgium and Italy! Seeing talent from right here at home celebrated globally is truly something special.
Stay tuned for more from tonight! And as you make your way through the Carolinas—from Rock Hill through Charlotte—on your walk, run, or commute, LOOK UP!! You may just see one of our incredibly talented local artists in the sky!
13 years of art. 13 years of opportunity. 13 years of celebrating artists and sharing their gifts with the world.
Happy 13 years, ArtPop!

Gianna Ross (@hommegirl.gi ) is a Charlotte-based fashion designer, educator, and founder of Street Serenade. Originally from New Jersey, her work blends luxury streetwear with the storytelling traditions of hip-hop, using fashion as a vehicle to explore identity, resilience, culture, and community. Her work has been featured in fashion shows and media across New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, and Charlotte. Passionate about youth mentorship, Gianna has partnered with organizations to introduce young people to sewing, continuing that work in Charlotte through orgs like Do Greater and Spring Clean. A graduate of Charlotte Is Creative’s CEI program, Gianna is building Street Serenade beyond the runway, using fashion to inspire action, provoke thought, and encourage others to stay true to their vision and remain students of the game

We’re excited to have Gianna designing for the ArtPop runway with @zairemcphearson ‘s 2025 billboard as her first artist vinyl reimagining. Model Keyera Childs ( @_keyeramonae ) returns to strut the catwalk and bring the garment to life.

Join us on Saturday, September 12th, from 6 to 9 p.m. at @blumestudiosclt

Reflecting on when I debut my Cloud 9
Collection at @colafashionweek 2024. After years off the runway it was a special one paying tribute to my grandmother and a nod to The Silver Lining’s
Playbook. #thejustincaseycollection #cloud9 #colafw
