Let’s start off our graduation countdown 🥳👩🏽‍🎓!!
Congrats to Soror Kiyah Thomas for receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. While at PVAMU, Soror Thomas served as a member of the Purple Jackets, the Honors Program, and the Undergraduate Medical Academy. She also served as the 2023-2024 corresponding secretary for the Eta Beta chapter. After graduation, she will be attending Texas A&M College of Dentistry where she will study to become a dentist. We are so happy and proud of your soror Thomas, we know you will continue to do the work and thrive❤️!!

First and foremost I want to say thank you to GOD for allowing me to explore something I have never done before. Going into this pageant journey it was a lot of ups & downs, good & bad, and Laughs. But in the end it was all worth it.

To my Friends and Family- Thank you for supporting through it all. That’s from letting me practice my projection in front of you to lifting me up when I wanted to drop out. You are all the reason why I didn’t feel not a nervous bone in my body when I hit that stage. I truly couldn’t ask for a better support system, I love you all deeply.

To my Pageant coaches & the Beautiful ladies of the ETA BETA Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Thank you for accepting me into this world of pageantry and giving me an opportunity to express myself in a way that was true to me. Thank you for giving me the necessary knowledge that I will not only use for a future pageant but in fact the real world. Thank you for putting up with my 50 million personality traits that I hope brought so much joy, laughter, excitement. I forever owe you all for developing me into a more mature & intelligent young man.

To my Girl Mariah, ugh where do I start? THANK YOU SOO MUCH! For taking a chance on me and Nakel without hesitation. Holding our hand every step of the way, picking us where we fell, and building us in to pageant Kings! Thank you for the compassion you showed throughout this whole process. I can’t wait to finish the work we started ❤️

And lastly to my Pageant Brothers, We came into this with it being all our first pageant and I’m so proud of us for growing so much over time. What made this experience so special to me is that all of us are from totally different worlds, friend groups, & etc. And being able to grow connections that I will cherish for a lifetime is worth my wild. Thank you boys for welcoming me with open arms where I didn’t feel any judgement, jealousy, or resentment. Just love, laughs, and a good time. I pray that in our future endeavors that all of you get what you deserve the most out of your collegiate careers and life in general. If y’all ever need anything y’all know my number Lol. I love you all 🤞🏾!
