2/3 veterinarian 👩🏽‍⚕️, 10/10 emotionally unwell ☹️

What a BONKERS year! We officially finished didactics and are heading into OUR CLINICAL YEAR! 🩺🎉

I’m excited, nervous, and so ready for this next chapter, but definitely bittersweet knowing I won’t see my people every day. 🥹❤️

So grateful to God for bringing us together at @uazvetmed. Some classmates became family, and our Murmur love is truly one of a kind. 🫀🐾 We pushed, struggled, laughed, and grew through another year together.

Que Diosito los cuide en sus aventuras. 🙏🏽

Now… Dr. Amber Garcia, DVM loading… ⏳👩🏽‍⚕️❤️

An awesome weekend at Yuma-Spay-a-thon! 🐈🤍
A group of 2nd years assisted in sterilizing over 300 cats at the Humane Society of Yuma! They rotated between induction, prep, monitoring anesthesia, performing a step in a spay procedure under the guidance of a DVM, feline neuters, and recovery!
These events help control the feral cat population while also giving back to the community. A HUGE thank you to Dr. Munoz, staff, and the Humane Society of Yuma for having us!

Outside of vetmed, I love traveling, hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with my German Shepherd, Kiba! I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing club and can’t wait for all of the events we have in store.” ⭐️📸

I attended my first SAVMA Symposium a couple weeks ago and it was such a great experience. Thank you @ucdavisvetmed for hosting and for the @savmasymposium2025 team that made it all possible.

I got to attend lectures, network in the exhibition hall and even take a day trip to the @sanfranciscozoo and see their veterinary clinic. It was really awesome to see all of us students coming together and I’m happy for all the new friendships I made 😁. Seeing and meeting @temple_grandin 👀😍 was definitely a highlight of my trip.

We had the second most attendees of our DVM program so you already know our goal is to be #1 next year! 😉 With that said, I’m also so excited to announce that I’ve been elected as Vice Present of our SAVMA chapter at @uazvetmed 🤩. I’m looking forward to learning more from our amazing current leaders and to working with our other newly elected leaders to see what we will accomplish 😄
