Over the past months we have shared a series of live recordings from our home at RADION, each selected with care for its atmosphere, energy, and the moment it captured. Today we are celebrating the first ten releases in this series.

Based in the midlands and the founder and resident of Mycelium, Krok has provided us with a dreamy and pumping mix, which - in his own words - is “expressing the vibe [I] perceived on the dancefloor at Tech Couture last November.” So special!! We love this!! ✨

Using textures and percussion that build and release tensions through mysterious rhythms that develop intricately, woven and connected through layers of airy hypnotic atmospheres 🌪️

And so another chapter of HØL in Manchester has been and gone.

It is hard to put across in a post the strength of feeling we have right now.

The circumstances around this date in Manchester presented a significant challenge, and a true test of our progress as a collective.

The outcome was a showing of an overwhelming amount of trust that you the dancers put in us - for that we are so very grateful.

At both The DBA and Stage & Radio, across all four of those dancefloors, you turned up in your droves to create the incredible moments we shared together.

Thank you to the venue staff, @littleyellowriceco, our team, all contributors, and to each and every DJ for the sets that provided the soundtrack to a truly memorable community gathering.

Finally, a special mention must go to the local DJs we hosted across both lineups. Platforming local artists is the lifeblood of HØL, and will continue to be at the very core of what we do going forward.

September sees us go to Malta on 5th for Clergy 10 Years, and then we’re back at The DBA on 27th for what is by far and out the most ambitious event we have ever put on. Lineup drops for both will be out this month.

ARTIST INTRODUCTION // KROK

Tomorrow we welcome @myceliumuk founder and Midlands based DJ @_krok10 to The DBA.

Much loved in the Manchester scene and beyond, he recently made his Radion debut, and has made huge contributions to the Manchester community through Mycelium, his underground party that goes by the mantra “through music we grow” - which we couldn’t agree more with.

Sonically, he carefully utilises textures and percussion depths, releasing tension through mysterious rhythms that develop intricately, woven and connected through layers of airy hypnotic atmospheres.

Krok’s HØL debut happens tomorrow at a full house DBA.

Just thought we’d pop on here to remind you that we are all reuniting at our spiritual home The DBA next month.

We take over the pub on Saturday 5th July from midday for another memorable 12 hours of the best music and the best people ♥️

A lineup dominated by the presence of our outstanding local/UK-based artists, who will be sharing the decks alongside four international DJs who we cannot wait to see in action next month.
