An exciting announcement for us here at WBC MuayThai NZ.
I would like to congratulate Regy on becoming the new New Zealand Chairman to lead into the next stage we need to grow WBC MuayThai here in Aotearoa.
Regy brings a wealth of knowledge on our administration and systems and is passionate about the continued growth.
I will continue to be part of the committee and assist Regy into the new position, training officials and working on shows.
….

Thank you to everybody who has jumped onboard with us over the last 3 years especially the promotors and fighters who have put so much in.
None of what’s been created has been done alone and the unwavering support of @wbcmuaythai and Mr Kevin Noone has been huge.

Particular thanks to Katie Q. Caitlin, Jess and Sherman who have all played an integral part in our foundation.

Auckland!! We are getting busy here and the upper North Island. There has been massive growth and show requests and we are getting bigger.
We have decided that rather than seminars and tests and shadow judging although a great opportunity to learn the scoring and points system, it’s a real mission to get around everyone let alone find events to sit in on to train.
So instead we want to try doing it differently, more professionally and targeted at people who are serious about the future of MuayThai in Aotearoa.
We have 3 positions available to be trained with and alongside New Zealand’s top official’s and experienced referees one on one.
We have some massive plans for 2026-2027 to get our officials on an international platform and training with the world’s best officials.
Be part of the journey.
