My 💌 letter to St. Elizabeth College of Nursing No amount of pictures or words can describe the impact that has been made on me. I want to thank every single instructor, all of which spent hours tutoring me, listening to my life, calling and texting me out of school hours… but more importantly for believing in me and pushing me to the finish line. Every single instructor in that building became family. I want to thank every single patient who had Grace on me and allowed for me to care for them, love on them, and practice skills that got me to become competent in becoming a nurse. Each one holds a special place in my heart. I want to thank my parents for dealing with the stress, tears and my light on to 3am every night shining into their bedroom. They never once stopped believing in me and telling me I was made for this. I want to thank this college for giving me best friends that I’ll have for the rest of my life. No amount of pictures I have can share my love I have for my people. The SECON moms in the class who loved on me and texted me after school, who gave me the emotional support I needed. The people who become family. I’m just so grateful for all the people I’ve met. I’ll love each one of them forever. Thank you, thank you, thank you. To all my people who believed in me. Supported me. Had Grace on me. God put this dream into our hearts for a reason. I couldn’t be more sad it’s over, but I am so grateful it happened. If you told me 2 years ago I would become an RN, I would have laughed. This program kicked my butt mentally, emotionally and even physically (I’ve gained mad weight and no one stopped it😔) As we begin our careers as RNs, we will change so many lives. I love this college, and I love the people in my class more than I could explain. The scary yet beautiful thing is, we’re in our own now. Here’s to becoming a registered nurse. 🩺🤍
