I've been a long time admirer of this festival for creating a space where filmmakers, audiences and stories from across the diaspora can come together so to have our film premiere in New York means a lot.

Making a short film is a strange little act of faith. You spend months chasing something, asking people you care about to believe in it too. And if you're lucky, the film becomes more than the film. It becomes a collection of core memories you'll carry long afterwards. Grateful for the friends who keep saying yes to making things together ❤️
