What’s Good SIFSA!

Thank y’all for an amazing year and letting me serve as the 2025-2026 Alumni Chair 👨‍🎓‼️

Hope my work with sorting out the Pam system and curating alumni events allowed for braoder connections within the SIFSA network 🫂. I also had a great time being an informant through the news letters and being a guide to those who needed it. Overall, I enjoyed meeting everyone through this journey and continuing my goal of forming connections that will span beyond FSA 🇵🇭.

To my liaison school Baylor, thank ya’ll for being an amazing group to work with. The officers have treated me with nothing but respect and kindness. A lot of the success of the past leadership retreat is owed to ya’ll, and we are very grateful for all the hard work that was put in behind the scenes. Can’t wait to see how far this FSA goes in the future 💚🐻.

To SIFA, I can’t imagine ending my FSA journey with any other organization. This team has been one of my greatest source of inspiration and motivation. Ya’ll are all talented individuals and people I’m lucky to call my friends 🙌. Thank you to my interns Cyrene and Cami for never shying away from any tasks and being eager to help, I wish y’all the best 🤠.

In the past years I’ve served under SIFA, this journey has allowed me to create fond memories and meet amazing people. Whether that be through GoodPhil, leadership retreat, meetings, and any event along the way, I am truly blessed to have garnered different experiences and form connections with different people ☀️.

It’s hard to believe this is my last GoodPhil. 4 years of hell weeks, wampus injuries, all nighters, point requirements, google forms, it’s been an amazing run with unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships. It’s very surreal to think that this was the last one, but I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished!! Whether as a General Member, Development Intern, Spirit Director, Pham Head, PhilSA Secretary, Goodphil Host, SIFA Secretary, or Modern Manager; or as a member of Spirit, Cultural, Soccer, or Modern, I don’t regret for a second how much I’ve put into this org, it’s always worth it :)

To Jada, you have genuinely been my rock this year thank you so much for #managing with me (and clutching up on Canva) 🙏

To Rance & Emma, thank yall for putting me in your pieces (and for putting up w my bs as manager). Yall know better than anyone how much I struggle with insecurity in dance but I am so thankful to have been a part of yalls visions. It’s crazy to think about all those talks we had at the evenground parking lot now but yall rly did it and I’m so proud to have gotten to support 🙂‍↕️

To the Modern O-Line, yall are some of the most passionate and hard working people I know, this was a really ambitious year for us in several ways and none of that success would be possible without yall <3

To SIFA (sry I can’t tag I ran out immediately 😭), I was so unsure about joining this board but as soon as I met yall I knew I made the right call. Yall have been a constant motivating force in my life and I’m so grateful to have gotten closer to yall, shoutout The Avengers for that pact and shoutout my amazing liaison school UTRGV ✌️

To PhilSquad, words will never express how grateful I am to have gotten to spend my last goodphil season with every single one of you. Your support and dedication means the world to me. Seeing the energy and passion yall put into to that performance was all I cared about and watching that video still brings me to tears for that reason alone, WE DID THAT 🗣️🗣️🗣️

goodphil 2026 🇵🇭🏆

there will never be enough words to describe how much these 4 days have meant to me. i joined philsa in 2022, knowing nothing about filipino culture, and surely knowing nothing about goodphil. however, i had the opportunity to direct spirit in 2023 (shoutout stranger things). afterwards, i knew goodphil wasn’t just about the outcome: it was about the laughter, the tears, and everything in between that occur with the ones you love.

to spirit: as a 4-year veteran, i’ve seen 4 sets come to life, and it’s always a joy to see the process. thank you to everyone for making my last year so enjoyable. seeing the effort put into the set, from choreography to props, was inspiring. being a part of the first a&m spirit team to win 1st was so special, and i wouldn’t want to be barbies with any other team. 🩷

to cultural: as a senior 1st-year member, i was scared of joining since i felt like i'd always be behind. i was so wrong—the love and support overpowered any doubts i had, and there was never a moment when i felt unsure of where i belonged. from auditions in rec 303 to cold, windy nights on wampus, every second i spent with y’all was a second i'll cherish forever. thank you to lebranh and the cads for believing in me to be on this team; I'm indebted to y’all for giving me some of the best memories of my college career. i'm beyond proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team, and the things i've learned from everyone will carry with me for the rest of my life. 3-frickin-peat baby. ❤️💙

to sifa: to say these past 4 days were stressful is an understatement. working 18 hours on 4 hours of sleep every night was no easy task, but our love and passion for our orgs were what pushed us to the finish line. we've been through the wringer together, but we can at least rest knowing that we put 110% into making gp a memorable experience for everyone involved. 🫶

as this chapter in my life closes, i look back on it with sadness that it must come to an end, but also with admiration and pride. the best last gp anyone could’ve asked for by making school and gp history. i love you philsa <3

It’s a bird, it’s a plane... NO, it’s @thepackeats, and we’ve finally returned! 🐺‼️ We visited Bangkok Thai Kitchen and wow, it was delicious 😋 The atmosphere was cozy, and the customer service was top-notch! Unfortunately, one of the pack mates wasn’t feeling well, so no sweet treat this time 😞 We were gone for a while this time, but fear not, 2026 is the pack’s year! More reviews coming soon 👀

Tayden - 9.4/10 - "Delicious creamy soup and vegetables weren’t soggy at all. Paired with the rice, great scoop. The atmosphere is very homey and no complaints at all."

Timi - 8.3/10 "The yellow curry is unlike anything I've tried before. The sweet coconut flavor paired with the earthiness of the turmeric paired together for a perfect combination!"

Mary - 8.0/10 - "Love this place! It’s a good hole in the wall restaurant (literally next to a gas station). My food had lots of seasoning, was very flavorful, and was served as a huge portion."

Aaron - 7.9/10 - "Really flavorful crab fried rice. The rice and eggs were cooked and seasoned really well that blended the whole dish and made it a more creamier fried rice that was very tasty."

Lance - 9.2/10 - "Perfectly cooked and seasoned rice that held an immense amount of flavor. Packed a punch in heat, but was still very much palatable. With the large serving size, this restaurant both delivered in taste and value."
