SPRINGER!!! ❤️

I don’t even have the words to express how life-changing this summer has been. Thank you for the inside jokes, the games, the laughter, the highs, and even the lows that brought us closer together. Most of all, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and giving me a home away from home. I will face every day knowing that “today will be a wonderful day because I have made a positive change in my life.”

I’ll forever be grateful to be a part of the Springer family. Until next time. ❤️

Words can’t fully express just how much this summer and these people mean to me. They have filled every single day with such joy and laughter and memories I’ll never forget! My heart is broken that the summer is over, but it makes me all the more excited for the next time:) I love you all so much!

Here's to Year 30(!!!) of the Springer Theatre Academy! I can't show you everything, because that would take... two months! But this has truly been the most incredible summer at the best place in the world. I would not be who I am today without the influence of the Springer Theatre Academy in my formative years, and it's truly the greatest privilege to be able to share that magic with the next generation of students. These kids are kind, funny, brilliant, and ready to change the world using Life Skills Through Stage Skills!
This post wouldn't be complete without an acknowledgment for this summer's staff, a collection of some of the most wonderful humans I've ever gotten to work alongside. Every day getting to teach and spend time with you was a gift; my life is infinitely richer for having known you all. Love you, mean it.

The next part of my series of the summer is describing the absolute beautiful and wonderful people I’ve had the opportunity to live alongside of and work with. From bluey nights with Home Base and being screamed at that “we’re a family!” to late night parking lot chats and bowling adventures; it is safe to say that I have found my home away from home. These people have made me feel safe to be unapologetically me and have given me the space to fail boldly and succeed in places where I never thought I could. I love these people inside and out from the bottom of my heart. This group of people will always have a special place in my life and I’m forever grateful that our paths have crossed. No matter how far apart we may be from each other, I know that I’ll always be able to count on them ❤️

Springer year 30 is officially over, and I can safely say that it’s been the most impactful year yet. I’ve made so many new friends as well as closer connections with previous friends. Thank you to everyone who’s been along on this journey with me this summer. ❤️

I can’t show you everything because that would take 8 weeks, but just know that it’s been a wise investment.

My heart is so full after spending another incredible summer at the Springer. From meeting so many talented artists to having the opportunity to work alongside Anna Shelden, I truly couldn’t have asked for a better staff or a more wonderful group of students. Watching them grow, gain confidence, and find their voices in our class was such a rewarding and inspiring experience.

Thank you, Anna, for trusting me, giving me opportunities to learn from you, and allowing me to lead in the classroom. I couldn’t have asked for a better teaching partner. <3

To everyone I met or had the joy of reconnecting with this summer, thank you. Until we meet again. 💙
