For the last 5 months I’ve been putting in the hours before work, early in the morning at 4-5am to train for Capital City River Run. The discipline and tenacity it takes to complete a half marathon is something you can’t even put in to words. I’ve lost around 40 lbs since I started my training. Proud is an understatement.

I couldn’t have done it without my support group. My girlfriend @_larissa_m has been there every step of the way. My mom @leechaney21 and all the friends and family that came to cheer me on. Final time was 2 hours 8 mins. Now I can finally say I’ve done one. I’m looking forward to breaking that 2 hour threshold on the next.
