I TRULY LOVE TO SEE OTHERS DOING WHAT THEY WERE BORN TO DO! I get so much joy encouraging others! I will cheer for you even when I don’t get why the heck you love to do what you do! I’ll cheer for you EVEN WHEN you’re doing something better than me! Why? Because acknowledging your success does NOT diminish my own. And a candle doesn’t burn out by lightning another candle. When @_lauraonamission_ told me she wanted to start a virtual run club, I said SIGN ME UP!! I can honestly say the members of @missioncrewrunclub inspire me every dang day! Got my gear today! Better bet it deserves an unboxing! Looking for a virtual run club to learn from and be encouraged by others? Join our Crew!! #RunClub #Runner #Crew #Together #Community

It took me a day to process this message I received from a Mission Crew member yesterday. When I started my journey, it was to get healthier, mentally and physically. Almost exactly a year ago, the mission evolved to help get other people to their start lines, whatever those may look like. When I launched the Mission Crew Run Club in July, I had this idea to create a virtual, global run club that was free to join and was inclusive. Running has enough gate keeping, and I wanted to do my part to make it accessible to anyone who wanted to join. We have over 100 members now, and I’m proud to say this group of amazing and very chatty humans continues to show me every day that I’m on the right track with my mission. I may not create the most flashy reels, I’m not the fastest runner, I’m not the most exciting person to rep your brand, but hands down… I am building the absolute best support group in the Mission Crew. Having these folks in my corner makes all of this hard work I’m putting into building this community worth it. Then, to receive a message like this from a member? My mission is stronger than ever. If you’re looking for a crew to share your runs with, chat about gear, fuel, bounce frustrations and ideas off of, or just be entertained by where the conversations take us, join us. We will meet you where you are. Every pace has a place and no one gets left behind. As for me, I’m going to keep doing this thing I’m doing. It seems to be working out pretty well 💜 Laura

Smiles for miles are good for the soul! Another amazing day from Sydney & so happy LiAnn got to experience it. @sydney_marathon had an amazing 5k on Saturday the day before the marathon. Exactly what the soul needed! So many amazing people out there. If you can, go do this. I could tag the world and still likely miss folks somehow.
