The first meeting of Budget Bibliophiles was a success!

I am someone who loves to go to events, but always scared to plan them. Even though I love a good theme, hang out, or yap sesh, this was very much out of my comfort zone.

Thank you to all the book girlies who came out yesterday and read a book for the prompt, Spring Fling. It was so nice to have conversations about books and find community without the pressure of spending money.

Community is about friendship, not about profit. I can’t wait for our next meet up and hopefully more like-minded, budget friendly, girlies can join us ❤️

After a year of attending @booksbyjoanna Bay Area Bookish Meet Ups I was able to help plan and co-host one!
